While looking for Inspiration for my "underwater" design concept on my project, I found this beautiful floor design! Mare Floors GmbH, a German-based large format printer, used its UltraVu® 2600 to print a vibrantly colored and unusual underwater floor design for leading Madrid advertising agency, Estudio Cruz. The floor was installed by first applying a plastic layer to the existing concrete, and then bonding the self-adhesive vinyl graphics to the base-layer. Glass beads and crystals were adhered to the printed image and a matte covering was overlayed. The final touch was the installment of a special hard-wearing transparent film that helped to create a look of shimmering water.
